Summer is a Time for Reconnecting

Summer is a time for reconnecting. We reconnect with nature–doing yard work, going on hikes, picnics, etc. We reconnect with our loved ones–family reunions, family gatherings at graduations, camping trips, etc. Summer is also a wonderful time to reconnect with God. This may happen when yu are out in nature, or at family gatherings. This also happens at Vacation Bible School (as a participant or helper), Bible Camp, or Summer retreats, etc.

With all of this Summer reconnecting, our schedules can become overwhelmingly busy. To help you stay connected with God through worship, here at Faith Lutheran Church, we are providing you with a worship alternative. On Wednesday evenings there will be a meal served at 5:45 with a Worship Service at 6:30. This will begin June 5th and continue with the Wednesdays following.

May God bless you in all your reconnections this summer–with nature, with family and friends, and with God. I look forward to hearing the stories that these connections will conjure up for you.

Partners in sharing God’s grace,

Pastor Paul
